Lagos Inaugurates Ibile Oil And Gas Corporation (IOGC), State Oil Company

The Lagos State Government Monday formally inaugurated the state-owned oil company, Ibile Oil and Gas Corporation (IOGC), as a business arm of the state in the oil and gas industry. Speaking at the formal inauguration of the company’s corporate head office in Lagos, the state Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, said the initiative was another giant step in the determination of the state to leverage on the recently acquired status of oil producing state in Nigeria. Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe, 93, is not asleep when he closes his eyes for long periods in public events but is resting his eyes from bright lights, his spokesman said Thursday. A bizarre hunt has been launched to identify a man pictured smiling as he mounted on a dead shark while naked. Animal welfare campaigners have branded the picture “disrespectful” to the shark and said the man should be quizzed over his “humiliating” behaviour. The disturbing image shows the man grinning as he lies on top of the creature and hugs it on what looks like a fishing boat. The photograph was shared by wildlife presenter Anneka Svenska who tweeted.

80 Chibok Girls Free By The Boko Haram

Fresh report has it that the Islamist terrorist group, Boko Haram, has released a batch of more than 80 of the Chibok high school girls who were abducted in mid-April 2014. A top military source has revealed to SaharaReporers. According to a source said the release of the 80 abducted school girls came after further negotiations between the Islamist group and the Muhammadu administration. The source he was not in a position to disclose the terms of an agreement that led to today’s mass release of the Chibok school girls. Our source revealed that that the 82 girls who just regained their freedom are currently in Banki town in Borno state awaiting airlift to an unknown destination. The source added that once the girls are secured in a new location they would be debriefed, undergo a psycological and medical test and then be reunited with their families.
